Clearing the Path: Outrageous Favor

A tradition Laura and I keep as a family is asking the Lord to speak into our lives with a word for the year. This year, in the weeks prior to our family time of sharing and painting the words given to us by the Lord, we traveled to Indiana for the Christmas holiday. While spending time with family, I received an entire box of Reese’s Outrageous Candy Bars from my parents and was challenged to give them away as led by the Lord. After returning to Dallas, the Lord presented many opportunities to use the candy bars to share the Gospel. He also used the candy to reveal my word for the year — Outrageous Favor!
Like no other time in the history of Time to Revive (TTR), I am overwhelmed by the favor we are experiencing with God and man. Through our steadfast love and pursuit of the Lord over the years, He is clearingthe path for us to walk through doors only He can open. He has prepared our hearts with courage through an outrageous gift of faith to reach the nations for the Gospel. And, as only He can do, He has provided incredible connections with ministry partners and fellow laborers, allowing us to run with endurance during this extraordinary time in which we live.
I hope you will continue to join us through prayer and in person as we pursue the Lord together in 2026. Here are just a few stories of the Lord’s outrageous favor from the first quarter of the year. Enjoy!

MAKE: Pouring into the Next Generation

The Lord has provided understanding to our leadership team at TTR concerning the importance of pouring into the next generation. The thought process behind our effort is based on the example set by Jesus to MAKE disciples. In our years of ministry working with students on college campuses, and most recently in our internship program, we find a generation hungry for Truth, community, authenticity, and purpose.
It is our desire to awaken the next generation of disciple-makers through the power of the Gospel at work in their lives, equipping them with evangelism-focused teaching, and helping them to step into their calling. Through our internship program and partnering with other campus ministries, we are seeing a movement among young adults who are pursuing God with passion, understanding their identity, and exercising their role in the Great Commission. |

BAPTIZE: Repent and Believe
|
|
| For the past three years, Time to Revive has partnered with New Covenant Christian Academy in Interlochen, MI to provide their Bible curriculum through Revive School. The Academy, with approximately 120 students, are first introduced to Revive School in the sixth grade and will follow the curriculum all the way through their senior year, including daily Bible reading, discussion questions, and watching the videos. Over the years, I have been invited by the school’s administration to visit the school and provide a live Bible teaching. So in February, I spent the day with the students, teaching their daily Bible lesson. Later that evening, I was given the opportunity to share the Message of Repentance at Fresh Wind Community Church, the parent church of New Covenant. Through the discussion of His Word with the studentsand a spirit of repentance among the community, God’s Spirit stirred many to repent and believe, resulting in 15 baptisms and several new salvations. |

TEACH: Equipping the Saints
|
|
| The All Team Gathering and Founders Weekend are meaningful opportunities to pour into our team and a small group of ministry partners. During this time, the heart of our leadership is to intentionally acknowledge the role they each play in the mission of the ministry, the value in their partnership, inform them about what God is doing through Time to Revive, and involve them in what is ahead for the coming year. |
